Summer Savory

Summer Savory has a cracked pepper flavour and is often known as a ‘season-all herb’.  Used in salads, soups and omelettes, it's great with fresh beans, both as a companion plant in the garden and added in bean dishes.  The flavour also complements rosemary, garlic and thyme in meat and poultry dishes. Try something new with your BBQ meat by finely chopping a handful of summer savory, mixing with a little oil and using as a marinade baste with your meat. 
 
Growing Info
Annual, plant 40-60cm apart in full sun to part shade. Requires low water, keep moist but not over wet and no need to over fertilise.
