Italian Parsley

Italian Parsley

Italian parsley is widely used in many culinary dishes and pairs well with many recipes. All parts of the plant are edible and delicious added at the end of the cooking process to enhance flavours. Italian parsley is less bitter than it's relative; curly parsley. The plant leaf looks similar to coriander and is often mistaken however the fragrance and taste differs, making identification much easier. Very high in vitamin C, parsley has more vitamins than oranges!

Growing Info
Italian parsley is a biennial herb. Loving the heat it does well in full sun. Regular watering with liquid fertilizer helps give deep strong growth, particularly in hot and dry weather. It will go to seed early if it becomes too dry.  Growing up to a height of 35cm, it's sensitive to transplanting so ensure to pick the right spot.
