Rue

Rue, a lovely, hardy evergreen shrub is a perennial. The plant has lovely blue-green leaves with yellow flowers and green centre. The fragrance of the plant isn't the nicest however it does make a beautiful cut flower.  The odour of the plant is a repellant to insects and also dogs and cats.  If you put into a vase in your home, it will keep bugs away. It can cause skin irritation or rash on sensitive skin. Rue looks nice trimmed into hedges.

Growing Info
Growing up to 90cm in height the plant tolerates a variety of soil types. Plant in ful sun and doesn't require a lot of water as is quite drought tolerant.
