German Chamomile
German Chamomile has sweet smelling white and yellow flowers. Used in soaps, herbal teas and potpourri. Green, glossy fern like leaves the plant is easy to grow in any garden and often used as a lawn alternative for mass planting and garden borders. Highly bee attracting! To make a tea, steep dried flowers in hot water for two minutes. The herb is known to be calming and relaxing. The flowers are edible and can be added to salads.
Planting Info
An annual that grows to 30cm high, part shade to full sun. Moderate water and fertiliser. It self-sows freely and you can bet if you plant it one time, it will spring up in the garden from then on.
