Purple Sweet Potato Vine

Purple Sweet Potato Vine is a highly attractive annual, the leaves, flowers and tubers are all edible. Use the leaves and flowers in salads and as a spinach green.  The plant will trail up like a vine so use a trelis or similar for support. Can also be planted in hanging pots or baskets as a decorative feature.  Will spread as groundcover with wonderful foliage and is very useful as living mulch. Perfect as a sacrifice plant, the hoppers love the leaves and stay away from other plants nearby. 
 
Growing Info
Easy and vigorous fast grower, easily spreading to 2mtrs, the plant loves full sun to part shade (will grow slower in shade) and well draining soil. Water at least once a week and don't let plants dry out. Can propagrate via stem cuttings.
