Marigold

Marigolds are very easy to grow. They are an edible flower showing spectacular colour all summer long and into the cooler months.  Used to decorate cakes and in salads and savoury dishes, having a spicy aroma, they are a beautiful annual to grow.  Flowers range in colour from pale yellow to deep orange and rust and look wonderful in pots or hanging baskets and in the garden.  

Planting Info
Marigolds will tolerate a wide range of soil types and climate conditions. They love the heat, so perfect for South East Queensland summers!  Plant around vegetable plants to repel pests, they grow 10-18 inches tall. Loving full-sun spots, try not to water the blooms.
