Zinnia

Zinnias are an edible flower that love warmth and summery days. A full sun position for the blooms to blossum. Soft and furry with light green leaves, they are available in most colours of the rainbow.  Flowers are used to decorate cakes, add to desserts and salads. A supurb cutting flower that will last up to two weeks in a vase.

Planting Info
A long lasting annual plant that likes well-drained soil in full sun position. Space 25cm apart. Cut blooms back to promote more flowers.  Use mulch around them to keep moisture in. Feed fortnightly with a liquid fertilizer. Water plants at stem to reduce fungus on plants.
