Calendula
A fantastic healing herb, Calendula edible flower petals can be easily added to salads, rice dishes, stir-frys, soups, biscuits or desserts. Or, can be dried and added to herbal tea infusions. An annual plant that attracts many bees with its stunning show of bright, happy daisy-like flowers that continue through the cooler months. Medicinally, this plant aids wound care and general inner health. The flower petals dry quickly, hence is easily used as a tea.
Planting Info
Grows 60cm high, best grown from June - October. Plant in a warm, sunny, well-drained position and give fortnightly feeds. Cut flowers regularly to encourage more growth.
