Green Mizuna

Mizuna is part of the mustard family and is known as an Asian green.  Most commonly used in gourmet salad mixed, mizuna has a mild peppery taste with a slight hint of mustard; the taste gets stronger as the leaves grow larger.  Small leaves are best for salads and larger leaves best for stir-frys and soups. Pick the leaves to use as the plant grows; outer leaves first to promote more growth and longer life.

Growing Info
An annual, plant seedlings 30cm apart in full sun to part shade. Likes regular watering and regular fertiliser. Mizuna also comes in a purple variety, check to see if Basilea has it in stock!
