Upland Cress
Similar to watercress, upland cress has a stronger sharp peppery flavour. Often used raw in salads, on sandwiches and wraps or as decoration on cooked meals. When cooking, cook similar to kale. All parts of the plant are edible and rich in vitamins, iron and calcium.
Growing Info
Very easy to grow, this biennial likes cool moist soil and partially shady spots. Being a member of the mustard family, it will bolt to seed quickly if grown in hot weather. Pick young tender leaves to maintain continuous supply. Grows to 25cm high.
