Catnip, a member of the mint family is well known for being an aphrodisiac for most cats. Less known is that it has a fantastic ability to repel mosquitos and flies! The plant has lovely mauve flowers and is an attactive and useful plant to have around your BBQ area. Catnip attracts beneficial insects which eat aphids and mites; proving to be a very useful companion plant in the garden.
Planting Info
Perennial that grows to 40-50cm high. Plant in full sun to part shade, the plant has low water and fertiliser needs. Easy keep and quick growing.
