Blue Curl Kale

Blue Curl Kale is a delightful herb producing finely curled blue-green leaves.  Kale is high in fibre, calcium and vitamin A – needed for good vision and skin. Vitamin C, essential for your immune system and vitamin K, said to be helpful in the protection against various cancers. High in iron per calorie, kale has more iron than beef! Kale can be cooked steamed, in stir-frys or in salads. Mature leaves perfect for a stew or juiced.

Growing Info
Plant height is 35cm tall and 75cm wide.  Grows best in cool weather, perfect winter vegetable. Likes a sunny position, rich well-drained soil. Very hardy and productive plant, one of the hardiest brassicas and is good in windy gardens. Leaves can be picked continually all throughout the year.
